RC Demolition Derby (Equine Arena)

Smashing, crashing and parts flying. We all love an action packed show of 1/10 scale RC cars battling it out to claim the first place champion title. This was all started by Ed Brewster, a man with the biggest heart and a love for the sport. Since his passing we only thought it seemed right to carry on his passion and love for these RC demos. None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for his inspiration on us all. Just as much as Ed did we hope you enjoy watching competitors of all ages and from all over the states compete in various classes of demolition derbies such as national, outlaw, truck, rollback and milk truck. In these classes you will see competitors compete down to the last remaining car. We run on a dirt surface inside a 20x20 track. The cars are 1/10 scale Traxxas slash/rustler chassis with an aluminum coil stock homemade demolition derby style body mounted on it. You will witness cars smashing into each other and breaking parts. As the show goes on you will see bodies bending, front ends starting to nose and rear ends starting to fold. These derby cars will battle back and forth trying to take out there opponents. There are many ways to be taken out such as flipping, breaking chassis parts, stripping gears, breaking axels, losing tires or being counted out by the 30 second shot clock. Even though we are all competitors and against each other, in the end we are a close community that will shake hands and laugh together at the end of each derby. We are all always willing to help one another out, especially inexperienced drivers.
